How to claim

Customer Protection Insurance

To claim: complete the relevant claim form, attach the required documents, and send to claims@rcsgroup.co.za. We will assess your claim as soon as possible and get in touch with you.

Loss of Income Claim

You will need the following documents to claim:

  • Claim Form
  • Certified Loss of Income Letter on company letterhead
  • UI 19 Form from your Employer
  • Bank statements not older than three months

Natural Death Claim

You will need the following documents to claim:

  • Completed and signed Claim Form
  • Certified ID of deceased person
  • Certified Death Certificate
  • Notice of Death report (DHA1663)
  • Certified ID of claimant
  • Executor Letter

Unnatural Death Claim

You will need for following documents to claim:

  • Completed and signed Claim Form
  • Certified ID of deceased person
  • Certified Death Certificate
  • Notice of Death report (DHA1663)
  • Certified ID of claimant

Permanent Disability Claim

You will need for following documents to claim:

  • Completed and signed Claim Form
  • Certified ID of account holder
  • Boarding letter if employed
  • Doctors letter confirming disability if self employed
  • UI19 if employed
