We know you miss your barber, but you can take the power into your own hands with these grooming products.
Here are the goods you need to keep your look clean and sharp right from home.
Social distancing doesn’t mean you get a free pass on the grooming front. Pick out the right product to make your shaving routine at home as effortless and effective as possible.
Lay the foundation for the perfect shave by first doing a gentle scrub to slough off dead skin cells and soften the stubble. Pick out a good product, then wet your face with warm water, and apply the scrub in gentle circles to your skin. Pay special attention to your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin creases, and neck, as this is where the most build-up occurs. Rinse with cool water, and pat your skin dry with a clean towel.

TRIM IT DOWN
If you’ve got more of a bona fide beard than stubble, it’s a good idea to trim the fuzz before you shave. Using a razor on thicker hair will be both painful and ineffective. Grab some scissors, or better yet trimmers, to cut down your facial hair before facing the blade. For the hair, place the right clipper guard into your clipper – small size clippers for a shorter cut and use larger clipper sizes if you would still like longer hair. Cut hair in a bottom to upward and outward motion.

FOR THAT SMOOTH SHAVE
It’s time to clean up that stubble. Using the right foam, cream or gel means fewer nicks and bumps, a beautifully close shave, and happy, moisturised skin. Experts recommend using shaving foam if you have oily skin, or shaving cream if you have tough stubble.
