During the winter season, we all like to keep our hair protected and away from the sharp wind and rain. A good way to do this is by wearing headwraps. Headwraps are so much more versatile than you’d think – they can be styled in unique ways to be suitable for many different occasions.

Use your RCS Card to pick up some gorgeous new scarves, then try out these stylish ways of tying them:

HOW TO TIE A HEADWRAP FOR A STYLISH DAY LOOK

  1. Place the head scarf on your head with the two ends facing the front of your head.
  2. Twist the two ends together from where the scarf touches the top of your head all the way to the tips of the scarf.
  3. Flip the twisted scarf towards the back of your head and secure the tips of the scarf underneath the headwrap.

STYLING SUGGESTION: This look would pair really well with a polo neck as this brings more attention to your face. Statement earrings will help pull it all together. Add a chunky neckpiece to give you that final fab look.

HOW TO TIE A HEADWRAP FOR THE OFFICE

  1. Place the head scarf on your head with the two ends facing the front of your head.
  2. Twist the two ends together from where the scarf touches the top of your head all the way to the tips of the scarf.
  3. Start rolling the twisted scarf around onto the top of your head until you reach the tips which you can tuck away into the headwrap to hide the rough edges.

STYLING SUGGESTION: Wear this headwrap with a nice simple blouse and blazer and finish off the look with pearl studs.

HOW TO TIE A HEADWRAP FOR A NIGHT OUT

  1. Place the head scarf on your head with the two ends facing the front of your head (or the side of your head, in the case of the side wrap).
  2. Tie the ends of the scarf into a big bow.
  3. Play around with the bow and fluff both ends of the bow out until you achieve the rose look.

STYLING SUGGESTION: This headwrap would look good with a simple outfit as it is already quite dramatic. An off-the-shoulder top and high-waisted jeans would do the trick. Add some nice gold hoops and a statement necklace for that final touch.
